1:1 parenting support

Sometimes parenting can be really tough.

Every stage of parenting has it’s unique challenges:

  • Finding a balance between care for your newborn and looking after yourself.

  • Having to co-regulate your toddlers’ BIG emotions.

  • Adjusting to a tween in the house.

I understand that every family is different and that your family has specific wants and needs, your own values and believes.

I use an eclectic approach, drawing on evidence-based strategies from a few recognized programs and philosophies. I use Emotion coaching which helps you co regulate with your child’ emotions, I use aspects of the Neuroprotective Developmental Care approach (Possums) and attachment focused care.

There is no one-size-fits-all in parenting. I want to help you unlock your full potential as a parent and make your parenting experience more enjoyable and less stressful. Together we choose strategies that will truly resonate with you and your loved ones.

I will empower and equip you with skills so you can stop doubting yourself and stop feeling guilty.

I can offer support in the comfort of your own home or we can meet online via Zoom.

Postpartum support

Becoming a new parent is an exciting and rewarding experience, but it often comes with significant challenges.

It is not uncommon at all to need some support.

I can help you adjust to your new role as a parent.

Research indicates that such support contributes to improving maternal and infant well-being and encourages early diagnosis and treatment.

Sometimes, family members or friends bring home outdated and even unsafe information and opinions about various parenting topics. Their advice can feel overwhelming for you and you could be unsure who to trust or how to justify your own parenting decisions.

I bring you evidence based information so you can make informed decisions on your parenting choices.

I can arrange professional referrals where needed.
